Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the mobile application Glimz (the “App”), operated by Weekshot Sp. z o.o., a company registered in Poland (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect data.

1. About the App

Glimz is a quiz-based application designed for entertainment and learning purposes. The App is intended for general audiences and is not positioned exclusively as a children’s application.

2. Eligibility and Age Declaration

The App may be used by users of different ages. During the initial launch, users may be asked to declare their age through an age-gate mechanism.

If a user indicates that they are under the age of 13:

• personalized advertising is disabled; and
• certain features or data practices may be limited in accordance with applicable laws.

Users are responsible for providing accurate age information. We do not independently verify age declarations.

3. Accounts and Access

The App may be used with or without creating an account.

• Users who create an account may choose a unique username (nickname).
• Users who use the App without an account may access its features; however, game progress, virtual items, or balances may not be recoverable if the App is deleted or reinstalled.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Account Deletion

Users may request deletion of their account.

• Upon deletion request, the account is deactivated and permanently deleted within 30 days.
• Deleting the App from a device does not delete a registered account unless an account deletion request is submitted.

5. Virtual Items and Rewards

The App may include virtual items, points, experience levels, or other in-app rewards (“Virtual Items”).

• Virtual Items have no real-world monetary value.
• Virtual Items cannot be exchanged for real currency, goods, or services.
• Virtual Items are non-transferable outside the App and exist solely within the Glimz ecosystem.

We reserve the right to modify or remove Virtual Items at any time.

6. Social Features

Certain social features may be available, such as adding friends or exchanging virtual items.

• The App does not support user-to-user communication, messaging, or user-generated content.
• Any exchanges are limited to Virtual Items without real-world value.

Additional social or competitive features may be introduced in future versions of the App.

7. Nicknames and Moderation

Users may select a nickname (username) when creating an account.

• Nicknames are subject to automatic moderation.
• We reserve the right to modify or remove any nickname at our sole discretion, without prior notice.
• Responsibility for the appropriateness of a nickname rests with the user.
• If you believe that any content in the App, including questions, answers, or stories, is inappropriate, inaccurate, or violates applicable rules or rights, you may report it to us using the in-app reporting tools or by contacting support.

8. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

The App may offer paid features, subscriptions, or in-app purchases in current or future versions.

• Subscriptions, if available, may be offered on a monthly or yearly basis and may include a free trial period.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled through the Apple App Store or Google Play.
• Payments, renewals, and refunds are handled exclusively by the respective app store and subject to their terms.

Availability of paid features may vary by region or App version.

9. Advertising

The App may display advertisements.

• Advertising may be provided by third-party ad networks, including Google AdMob.
• Advertisements may be selected based on general, non-personally identifiable information, device context, or user-declared preferences.
• We do not control and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of third-party advertisements.

For users who indicate that they are under the age of 13, personalized advertising is disabled.

10. Third-Party Services

The App may rely on third-party services for analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or other functionality.

We do not control and are not responsible for the operation, availability, or content of third-party services, which are governed by their own terms and policies.

11. Intellectual Property

All content within the App, including text, quizzes, graphics, designs, and software, is owned by or licensed to us.

Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

12. Updates and Changes to the App

We may modify, update, add, or remove features of the App at any time without prior notice.

We do not guarantee that any specific feature or content will remain available.

13. Disclaimer

The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We make no warranties regarding uninterrupted operation, accuracy, or suitability of the App for any particular purpose.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or related to the use of the App.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Poland, without regard to conflict of law principles.
